Digital Marketing Intern for Spring 2018

Tiger Bookstore is looking for a digital marketing/eCommerce intern for spring 2018! This is an ideal opportunity for a student or recent graduate in marketing, advertising or related field with interest and experience with SEO/SEM, eCommerce and web development. Earn college credit through the University of Memphis or gain valuable resume experience as a recent graduate. This is an unpaid internship with possibility of developing into a paid, permanent position.



Assist in planning and executing all web, SEO/SEM, email, mobile, social media and display advertising campaigns
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
Collaborate with Digital Media Manager to create landing pages and optimize user experience
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Assist with eCommerce sites including, Google shopping, eBay and Amazon
Write and optimize product descriptions and edit product photos
Assist with order fulfillment and customer service
Assist with the creation of digital content-blog, social media, etc.


Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in advertising, marketing or a related field
Working knowledge in digital marketing and advertising
Intermediate abilities in SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Highly creative with ability to identify target audiences and devise digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
Knowledge of optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Interest in A/B marketing and multivariate experiments
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, MOZ)
Basic knowledge of setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Strong writing and communicating skills are a must
Adobe Photoshop experience preferred
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is preferred
Retail experience a plus
Must be able to work 10-15 hours/week
